BHF 66 mile ride, part 2 (2010)
24.03.2010. 10:59
After a year that has flown by it seems that the BHF 66 mile (or 25 mile, or 50 mile depending on which route you pick) event is upon us again.
As the title suggests it is run by the British Heart Foundation which is a fantastic charity and put on some amazing events throughout the year which not only keep people healthy but also raise vast amounts of money. They must have a very good 'ideas / events' team, as I have never seen any other charities doing so much to raise funds for themselves.
Since the last ride I have sold my pride and joy which was the
Peugeot Competition 300. I made a bit of money on it though when selling it as I had completely renovated it. I was lucky enough to receive a Giant SCR Ltd as a present at the tail end of last year though and so will probably complete this years ride on that. I may be attending with a few friends on MTBs and nobblies though so may be forced to take the mountain bike instead!
I will update with progress, I guess it's really time to start training... =o
