After deciding to get into Mountain biking more seriously and looking for months for a decent group I have finally found one it seems.
The
Dorset Rough Riders are a group of chaps (and chapettes) who seem to have pretty every trail in Dorset mapped out in their collective heads!
From what I can make out there are rides pretty much every day of the week and so it is great as they are all around the Bournemouth area so it is just a case of deciding when you want to go along. Joining is a non bank breaking £15 / year and with that there are discounts to numerous bike shops (which include
On yer Bike as well as
Primera) so you could make your money back easily whilst buying lots of new bits for your bike!
I should hopefully be getting a new bike soon anyway to replace the Scott that I lost.. Watch this space!
