Well, the time has come and I have finally set up my page for the dorset 100km bike ride! For all those who feel like donating genourously for a great cause please visit my sponsorship page at

I am in keen training (ish!) and have been out on a decent ride at least once a week. Last week it was out on the Purbecks and this weekend we are travelling up to Manchester for a surprise ride which should be interesting. No idea on distance or gradient yet so we shall see. I am looking to start putting in some longer rides now though although don't really have 4 hours spare hanging around every weekend, but I am going to have to find the time. The gym is ok, but I find it completely different from road riding.... Watch this space! :-)
