Stupidly, we have signed up for the Puma Hellrunner again in 2010.
We did it last year in a respectable time of around 1:45. This was a first attempt and to be honest there wasn't a great deal of training involved! For those not so familiar Hellrunner is around 12 miles around Longmoor army camp just off the A3.
One of the most interesting parts of Hellrunner down South is the 'Bog of Doom' as can be seen below:
You have to bear in mind that this event is conducted in November and the water is generally just above freezing!! Although saying that after 8 miles around this course jumping into freezing water isn't as bad as it sounds!
Last year I was standing right by Gordon Ramsay as he finished! This clip shows that even he managed to find a sense of humour when finishing!
So this year for Hellrunner we have been doing a few more runs and hope to beat last years time, we'll update this page with the results, as it's this Saturday (27th November 2010).
